  Well just finished a meal here. I came purely because I was driving and wanted a no bs fish and chips experience, did this place come up short. Now either because it's right next to beach or it's doesn't get many visitors, I don't know which. But I think the value for money ( if you value your money) is 2 out of 5. I order a platter from the menu. And was charged more then the menu price (I guess gst inclusion has been missed by these guys as now-a-days it's should be included on a menu price) the fish was good. The portion was very small for me... And please don't​ mention about location. It's not at the bottom of the Mariana's trench or on top of mount Everest. It's f'ing Australia... We're surrounded by sea side and oceans. So they didn't have to invest In it so they get zero points for being next to a ocean. Also I felt not invited or the people in the restaurant being unenthusiastic towards me. So that's why I give it a 2 out of 5. I was hungry and the look they gave me made me not want to eat. Well that's just me.

  Food was delicious but very pricey. This salad cost $4. At least it helps pay Goethe fantastic staff

  We always go there when we come to Victor Harbour to the rock and roll festival we love the food and the atmosphere and the DJ plays very good old fashioned rock and roll music

  Excellent food, great fast friendly service, fish and chips not oily, nice fresh salad, interesting decor, will come back when visiting Victor Harbor.
